Around 2010 I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and started my journey to the place I find myself today.  The photo I’ve  included was taken in Spain in 2013 when Jack and I walked for 7 months in Europe, one of the many health interventions that added to my journey of returning to my favorite of all sports, ice hockey.  I’d had to give that up as my left leg would not respond to the necessary moves needed to skate.  Now I skate and play hockey with the women’s league at Midcoast Recreation Center in Rockport and the rest of the story will be told when we meet.  I look forward to sharing my journey to “Skating with Parkinson’s.”
