Elizabeth is the daughter of Joe and Kay Flanagan and has lived in Waldoboro her whole life. Her Maine roots can be traced back 8 generations. Elizabeth is an avid scholar involved in many extracurriculars. She is math team captain, girls basketball player turned manager, an actress with the MVHS players, a student representative to the RSU 40 school board, and a flutist. Her greatest accomplishment occurred through the Young Emerging Authors Fellowship at the Telling Room, a non-profit writing center in Portland. Elizabeth reached her goal of publishing her first novel before she graduates high school, when The Secrets They Left Behind was launched in August of 2018.
