Heather Sanborn is currently serving her first term in the Maine Senate after serving in the Maine House. A graduate of Middlebury College, she earned her law degree at the University of Maine. She taught high school history and government and prated law before founding Rising Tide Brewery with her husband in 2010. Rising Tide has created two dozen jobs and helper spur the revitalization of the East Bayside neighborhood in Portland in addition to being committed to giving back to its community. Heather, her husband and son live in Portland.
