Vas Prabhu is a nationally recognized art museum educator. She is known for creating innovative education/interpretation programs and has created permanent educations spaces at the San Diego Museum of Art; the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA; the De Young Museum and the Legion of Honor in San Francisco; and the Museum of contemporary Art in Los Angeles. Currently Vas is director of education at the Farnsworth Museum. She is a graduate of Cornell University and the Museum Leadership Program at Bank Street Graduate School of Education. Vas lives in Rockland.
